Raipur, May 07, 2026/  Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, while paying tribute to the valour, bravery and indomitable courage of the Indian armed forces on the first anniversary of “Operation Sindoor”, said the operation was not merely a military action but a symbol of new India’s unwavering resolve, fearless determination and decisive strength.

In a post on X, Shri Sai said the gruesome cross-border terror attack in Pahalgam a year ago had shaken the entire nation, but India’s response to the challenge added a golden chapter of courage and resolve to the country’s history. He added that “Operation Sindoor” sent a clear message to the world that the new India will not tolerate terrorism under any circumstances. He said India is no longer a nation that will suffer in silence, but one capable of delivering a decisive and effective response to every threat directed at the motherland.

Chief Minister said the operation showcased the courage, strategic strength and commitment of Indian soldiers adding that that the precision and effectiveness of the response had stregthened India’s military capability and leadership on the global stage.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India’s policy of “zero tolerance” towards terrorism has gone beyond rhetoric and has been demonstrated through action on the ground. He said the combined strength of the armed forces, advanced military technology and a self-reliant defence system has shown that India no longer responds passively, but is capable of strong and decisive retaliation when required.

On the first anniversary of “Operation Sindoor”, Shri Sai paid tribute to the brave soldiers whose courage and sacrifice have made every Indian proud. He also paid homage to the tourists who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack. Chief Minister said the valour, patriotism and sacrifice of the Indian armed forces will continue to inspire generations of Indians.
