Raipur 20 January 2023 / Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain has directed the officials of various departments of the state government that the top priority schemes of the government should be implemented promptly. He has also instructed the officers that the updates of the flagship schemes of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel should be regularly uploaded on the CM Dashboard of the CM Secretariat every month.
He was chairing a virtual meeting of officials of various departments on Thursday. In the meeting, he took reviewed several important schemes including the construction of Ram-Van-Gaman-Path, disposal of revenue cases in time-limit, demarcation and allotment of Nazul land, and recovery of water tax from the industrial unit.
While reviewing the works of construction of Ram Van Gaman Path, the Chief Secretary said that officials of the Tourism Board should reach on the spot and monitor the works being done under this project. In addition, instructions were given to the officers of the tourism department to put up signboards on the Ram Van Gaman Path, a road map, and prepare a presentation for the construction of the Ram Van Gaman Path. In the meeting, instructions were also given to the officers of the Water Resources Department to speed up the recovery of water tax from private industrial units and other industries.
Besides, the Chief Secretary has given instructions to the officers of the Revenue Department to settle the cases related to Nazul land by running a special campaign. Similarly, instructions were given to dispose of applications for regularization of illegal constructions expeditiously, to give information to the people by running a special campaign in the urban bodies, and to take necessary cooperation from the councilors and office bearers of the urban bodies in this work. In this regard, the Chief Secretary has asked the officers of the Urban Administration and Development Department and Town and Country Planning to take quick action. In the meeting, a detailed review of the use of reserved plots for E.W.S. was also done.

Ekka, Public Works Secretary Shri Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, Director Urban Administration Shri Ayaz Tamboli, Director Town and Country Planning Shri Jaiprakash Maurya along with officials of Tourism, Water Resources, Forest, Home, Panchayat and Rural Development Department and other departments participated in the meeting.
